Reno–Tahoe International Airport is the nearest major airport, located about 54 miles (approximately a 1¼‑hour car drive) from South Lake Tahoe. For convenience, we recommend renting a car—especially for exploring the area at your own pace. The airport has nine rental car agencies right outside baggage claim

Prefer not to drive? The South Tahoe Airporter offers multiple daily shuttle departures directly from the Reno airport to South Lake Tahoe and Stateline (including a stop at Edgewood) for around $30‑33 one‑way, with a travel time of about 1 hour 15 minutes. You can reserve your spots online.

Edgewood Guest Shuttle

If you're staying at Edgewood Tahoe’s on‑site lodging, you're in luck: they offer an airport shuttle service as well complimentary resort shuttle for guests within a 2.5‑mile radius.
